"This recording is one of my best performance I ever did. I like it very much because you can see how the orchestra react to my gestures. Donato Renzzeti wanted me to conduct this overture with the aim to open my emotions while conduct. The music is powerful and very expressive and describes the heroic sacrifice of a man condemned to death for having taken a valiant stand against oppression."
