"The idea to perform Stabat Mater around Eastern came from my colleague Maria Russeva with whom I studied in Sofia. She invite me to conduct the performance and that was my first contact with the musicians of Pleven Philharmonic and the City choir of Pleven.
The concert took place in the State Gallery of Pleven where the acoustic is somehow similar of a cathedral. "
